Friday 22 August
The bar opens at 2pm, with great live acts providing music in the late afternoon and evening. This is the time when you will have the biggest selection of cask conditioned, temperature controlled beers and chance to work through your old and new favourites. All our brilliant food vendors are with us for the whole weekend – see the details below, and there will be a great range of savoury and sweet snacks from the bar too.
The biggest day for rugby! The bar opens at noon, with our Tigers Colts taking on local opposition, before the Tigers Men’s 1st XV takes on another National League side as part of their pre-season. That will take us through to early evening when we have 3 musical acts to keep you entertained whilst you work your way through our huge selection of beers.
Another packed day – probably the busiest! The main attraction is the fantastic laser clay shooting range that will be with us from noon, run by On Target Events https://www.ontargettevents.co.uk/activities/laser-clay-shooting/ .
Whilst that is going on the fabulous Dore Male Voice Choir will be singing in the marquee and there will also be Walking Rugby and Try Touch Rugby going on too.
What about the kids…– they will be well catered for with a visit from one of our fabulous emergency services, chalks, colouring, games, orienteering and loads more to keep everyone happy indoors and out.
Then to finish off the weekend we have our bumper Pub Quiz in the late afternoon.
We know that you’ll love them – as you’ve tried most of them before. They are all with us for the whole weekend, so we know that no one is going to go hungry, and rumour has it more will be joining them.
We’ve got more music than ever before (and our ‘7 Hills Beer Festival’ Spotify playlist for the bits in between). Embryonix, Open Jaw Fayre, Alice Ede, Stephen Mone, Felix the Didgeridoo Guy and others will all be playing – singing and dancing are optional but encouraged.
