Why the Beer Festival?
7 Hills Beer Festival is hosted by Sheffield Tigers RUFC, Sheffield’s friendliest rugby union club. As a member-owned club, Tigers runs entirely from membership fees, takings from the bar and direct from the members themselves. Like all community sports clubs, life is not getting any easier. Players must be paid, buildings and pitches maintained and nothing is getting cheaper.
The club is doing great. The first fifteen is riding high in the leagues, the women’s team recently played a final at Twickenham and there are more players than ever. We need room to grow. We have the land for a 4th pitch but the resources required to turn a field into a pitch are substantial.
The beer festival is the club’s annual fundraising event through which we hope to sustain the club and take it to new heights. We thank you for your support and interest.
Why Seven Hills?
Sheffield, famously, is built over seven hills and Sheffield Tigers is a long way up Ringinglow, one of the highest. The club, in turn, is one of the highest union clubs in the country. To celebrate our altitude, we named the festival after the city’s famous geography,

Dogs
Dogs are welcome on the grounds of Sheffield Tigers RUFC and very welcome at the festival. However, for reasons health and safety reasons, dogs must be kept off grassed areas and pitches.
